Parents' Association (PA)
All parents of SCS students are members of the Parents’ Association (PA). The PA exists to enrich school life through parental participation and to enhance communication between parents, faculty, administration and the Board of Trustees. We welcome every parent’s involvement and contributions, as each parent has something valuable to offer The Stanley Clark School’s community. Thank you for sharing your interests, your talents and your time with us. We value all of this and you greatly!
The PA is headed by a board representing the volunteer leadership of committees, fundraisers and special events at the school. The monthly PA board meetings include a briefing by the administration, formal presentations by parent representatives and volunteers, special reports on school projects and discussion of current school issues. The PA president and vice president serve as ex-officio members on the Board of Trustees.
Purpose of Parents’ Association
The purpose of the Parents’ Association shall be to promote mutual understanding and cooperation among parents, students, faculty, administration and Trustees for the improvement and progress of the school.
