All camp registrations close one week prior to the start date. However, registering early is very helpful to us for planning purposes.

Yes, for both AM and PM camps, please pack a nut-free snack. Campers will take a break outdoors and enjoy our lovely campus.

An instructor will walk your child to the lunch area, where your child will eat, relax, and play with other campers. Your child will then be escorted to their afternoon camp. 

Summer at Clark is taught by our incredible Stanley Clark faculty as well as community experts! 

All camp registration grade levels are based on the 2025-26 academic year.

Each day, please arrive five minutes prior to your camp start time. Morning camp begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 11:30 AM. Afternoon camp begins at 12:30 PM and ends at 3:00 PM. Please note the building will close promptly at 3:00 PM each day. 

Grades 1-9

First through 9th grade campers should enter campus through the Donmoyer Road gate and be dropped off at the main entrance (door #1). Please use this front circle for pick-up as well. Approved individuals picking up must be listed at registration online or in person. Campers will be dismissed directly to the appropriate supervised pick-up location. On the first day, campers will receive their t-shirts and meet their camp instructors at outside, curbside registration. 

Preschool-Kindergarten

All early childhood campers should arrive and depart through the High Street gate and enter through door #10. Outdoor, curbside registration will take place at door #10. More information on early childhood camps will be sent from the instructor one week prior to the start date.

We are a peanut/tree nut-free facility. Please pack snacks that are appropriate for the heat and easy for your child to eat. If your child is staying all day, please pack a nut-free lunch and an afternoon snack as well. If you are staying for the afternoon, your child will have a supervised lunch and escort to their afternoon camp.

Snack and lunch will be in classrooms for preschool as usual. Preschool may opt to go outside in good weather. Campers in grade 1-9 will eat outdoors, or in classrooms in the case of inclement weather. 

Stanley Clark has a large campus with tons of space, so camps utilize both indoor and outdoor spaces. We love being outdoors and have plenty of green space, a forest area, sports fields, and more. This means sunscreen should now be part of your morning routine, as students may be outdoors! 

Illness Policy

Use the following guidelines for keeping your camper at home:

• Fever above 100, acute cold, severe cough
• Vomiting, nausea and abdominal pain, repeated diarrhea
• Possible pink eye (redness, inflammation and drainage from the eye)
• COVID-19 like symptoms (mild to heavy runny nose, congestion, new cough, chills, sore throat, loss of taste of smell, sneezing, fatigue, or muscle/body aches).

COVID-19 vs Seasonal Allergies: These can have similar symptoms such as runny nose, congestion, sneezing, or dry cough which can make distinguishing between the two difficult. If symptoms include a dry, tickly cough, itchy nose, itchy or watery eyes, it most likely is an allergy. If you are unsure, we recommend that you test for COVID. Results from at-home tests are acceptable.

When to return:

• Fever, diarrhea, or vomiting must be gone for a full 24 hours without the aid of medication (Tylenol, ibuprofen, or Imodium).
• If a child is placed on an antibiotic for strep throat, pink eye, etc., they must take the medicine for a full 24 hours before returning to camp.
• Anyone testing positive for COVID-19 whether symptomatic or asymptomatic and whether vaccinated or unvaccinated should:
  • Isolate at home for a 5 full days (day 0 is the first day of symptom onset or the date of a positive viral test for an asymptomatic person)
  • May return to camp on day 6 as long as fever free for 24 hours without the use of medication and has an improvement of symptoms.

Protocols for individuals experiencing illness onset while at camp:

If a camper, teacher or staff member begins to feel unwell after arriving on campus, the Camp Coordinator will assess for symptoms as listed under the illnesses above.

Campers: A parent will be notified that the camper is not feeling well and must be picked from camp within no more than 45 minutes.

Faculty or staff will be sent home.

Camps not meeting minimum enrollment will be canceled 1 week prior to the start of the registered camp. Families have the option to move into another camp or receive a full refund. Families in need of a cancellation of camp should email summerfun@stanleyclark.org. Refunds are not available to campers who are asked to withdraw due to behavior or who do not attend camp. Please note refunds after June 1 will be charged a $50 processing fee and after July 1, refunds will not be available. 

If your camper has asthma, food allergies or another medical condition, please complete the attached pertinent action plan: Asthma, Food Allergy, or Seizure. Campers with allergies should carry EpiPens with them at all times. Campers who have completed the 2024-25 academic year at Stanley Clark have a valid action plans on file in the nurse's office and will not need to complete a new form. 

At registration, please list any 504, IEP,  modifications or accommodations for academics or behavior. Email jloyd@stanleyclark.org with any new concerns after registration. This information will help us best support your child. 

Please bring water bottles and apply sunscreen before you arrive for all camps. Remember to wear comfortable clothes for athletics or clothes that are not restricting for art making. 

All early childhood campers should apply sunscreen before arrival and bring extra sunscreen, a bathing suit, sandals or water shoes, a towel, and water bottle. Early childhood campers need to bring an extra change of clothes in a Ziplock bag labeled with camper's name on the first day of camp. 

Families who have registered for pre-camp care should use the Donmoyer Road gate entrance and drop off campers at the playground. Please check in with the Camp Coordinator before leaving campus.
