Early Childhood Reggio Summer Program

Age 3 - 1st Grade

The Early Childhood Reggio Summer Program at The Stanley Clark School encourages hands-on learning as children explore their interests in our indoor and outdoor spaces on campus. Your child will experience the renowned Reggio Emilia philosophy taught during our school year within a fun and dynamic summer program.

While we include the arts, music, play, nature, and motor skills activities each day, the philosophy of our inquiry-based program assures that no two days are ever alike.

As the only Reggio program in the region, we believe:

Children have over 100 languages
Children learn through interacting with peers
Children are capable people who can drive their own learning
Children feel value when their work is documented

We structure our time with your child in a predictable rhythm that allows us to follow his or her investigative process—wherever it leads. Families receive a digital journal each day with photos and stories from their child’s day.

*Please note, camps for rising 1st graders are also available through Summer at Clark.

Morning Camp: 9:00-11:30 AM

Full Day: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Pre-Camp Care:

Morning: 7:45-9:00 AM

Preschool

Preschool Reggio Summer

Join us at the Garatoni Center for Reggio Studies for a dynamic, hands-on learning experience your preschooler won’t forget! Imagine your child being welcomed and invited each morning to discover new ideas, materials, and much more. Our qualified instructors will set the scene for adventures in art, music, nature, movement, and play. Each week, campers will have the opportunity for an outdoor field trip within our community, reflecting the nature of their current Reggio study. Permission slips will be provided. We understand children are capable individuals who can help drive their own learning. Experience the renowned SCS Reggio Emilia preschool through this exciting summer program! Kindergarten

Reggio Explorers Summer

July 10-14 - JOIN WAITLIST

Calling all rising kindergarteners! Time to move, learn, explore, read, and create the perfect summer day with our qualified instructors. Draw the alphabet or design a skyscraper while being guided toward the next in-depth step. Each week, campers will have the opportunity for an outdoor field trip within our community, reflecting the nature of their current Reggio study. Permission slips will be provided. We know that children are capable individuals who can drive their own learning. We are here to walk alongside them! Weekly documentation through Instagram is provided.

Grade 1

1st Grade Wonder Academy

Week: July 17-21, July 24-28, July 31 - Aug. 4

Morning Session: 9:00-11:30 AM
Full-Day: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM*
Grades: 1

What happens in 1st grade at Clark? How does growth, joy, and independence sound? Enjoy this full-day camp and learn to develop a growth mindset through fun activities like exploring nature, baking, jumping, reading, tying shoes, and writing. Activities will vary, but all are designed to help foster readiness for 1st grade.

Each week, campers will have the opportunity for an outdoor field trip within our community. Permission slips will be provided. We are excited to help your student prepare for the coming year!

*Please pack a nut-free morning snack and lunch (full day campers). Children must be potty-trained. Instructors will contact you one week prior to your first day with details!
