Class of 2020 Personal Memoir: Anna Kate
Anna Kate, Class of 2020
Anna Kate

I have been a part of the Stanley Clark family since the third grade and feel that I have grown tremendously not only as a student here but also as a person. The many different experiences I have had through Clark have shaped me to be the person I am. The variety of opportunities at Clark has allowed me to explore my different interests to a greater extent. One of the most memorable experiences I have had at Clark has been participating in the Speech Team. Being a part of the Speech Team has allowed me to further my studies in the arts, but also improve my strengths in public speaking.

Along with progressing as a speaker, the Speech Team has given me the opportunity to serve as a leader to my peers. Another amazing opportunity that I have enjoyed has been being a part of the soccer team. I have been on the soccer team since the fifth grade, and it is an experience that I am immensely grateful for. The soccer team and Speech Team have both allowed me to become a leader on and off of the field.

The staff at Stanley Clark has also been extremely influential in my academic experience. The teachers have pushed me to my fullest potential to embody the ideal version of myself. My Clark experience would not be the same without many of the teachers. My favorite teacher at Stanley Clark has been Ms. Wilson. She has always assisted me with my passion for writing and also has helped me with many different situations. I view Ms. Wilson as someone who I admire and respect, but also as a friend. I am extremely grateful for her, as well as all the other teachers at Clark. I feel that through Clark I have gained knowledge, friendships, and a variety of different memories that I will never forget. I truly feel that without Clark, I would not be the same.
