Class of 2019 Spotlight: Zoe
Lindsey Hab, Director of Marketing and Communications
Zoe

Meet Zoe

She started at SCS as an 8th grader after moving from Venezuela where she’s lived her entire life. “When I came to Clark, it was a completely different atmosphere, different country, different people, another language and different culture. But Clark has made it easier because of the people.” This year she’s gotten involved with volleyball, tennis, and Speech Team. She also enjoys photography and dance.

Fun Fact

“I can speak 3 languages. Spanish, English and French.”

Future Career Ambitions

“I am interested in architecture. I like to draw, but also when I see a house that I like, I think, wow, I want to do something like that.”

How Zoe Describes Clark

“It’s small, but the good thing is you meet everyone faster and get direct attention from the teachers.”

Her Transition to Clark

“I came two days late so it was awkward that my first day was after everyone else’s, but I made many friends pretty quickly.”

Favorite Part of Going to School Here

“The teachers understand if you don’t get things right away, are patient, and willing to help.”

Favorite Class Project

“In science, we had the baby project where we took care of a flour baby for a week. It was a fun project and different from everything we have done. I learned empathy for my mom!”

Favorite Teacher

“Ms. Wilson because she is really patient and understanding of me and the fact that English is not my first language.”

What Makes Clark Special?

“The environment and the people.”
