Suzanne

Meet Suzanne

She came to Clark in the 6th grade and has embraced her time here! This year she performed in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and has been a member of the Speech Team for the past two years. Suzanne has also participated in cross country, hockey, and basketball. In her spare time, she enjoys writing and riding her bike.

Future Career Ambitions

“I wish to become a writer because writing is something I really enjoy.”

Positive Experience at Clark

“I wrote a play in the 6th grade and it was chosen to be performed at Notre Dame through the Michiana Young Playwrights project. This changed my life because it started my love for writing. Now I’m going to Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan for high school to focus on writing.”

Favorite Field Trip

“In 7th grade, we went to Canada and I bonded with kids in my grade that I didn’t usually hang with and now they are good friends.”

How Suzanne Describes Clark

“It’s a small school, but honestly that is what makes it great. Teachers pay attention to you and they will help you when you struggle.”

Favorite Class Project

“The 6th Grade You Town Project was great. I learned a lot about teamwork.”

How She’s Grown at Clark

“Switching to Clark from a public school in the middle of sixth grade was difficult, but I overcame that and I’ve made many friends.”

Favorite Teacher

“Mrs. Wilson is the greatest teacher in the world. She inspires me to do what I think is best for myself. She’s a teacher but I also see her as a friend.”

What Makes Clark Special?

“The teachers at Clark are what makes this school so great. Each one of them cares about each student.”
