Class of 2019 Spotlight: Sonali
Lindsey Hab, Director of Marketing and Communications

Meet Sonali

She came to Clark in the 4th grade and loves reading and graphic design. She’s gotten involved in everything from band to Book Club to Science Olympiad. This year she was President of the Speech Team after being a member since 6th grade. She’s been involved in the middle school play each year, acting on stage and this year trying her hand at lighting. Sonali has also participated in cross country, basketball, and yoga!

“My favorite place I’ve ever been to is Tokyo, Japan.”

Future Career Ambitions

“I want to do something related to computers or graphic design. I did a summer camp and I really enjoyed it.”

Clark Achievements

“I was selected for the Notre Dame Playwrights workshop in 6th grade and received the Excellence in Spanish Award at Final Assembly in 7th grade.”

Favorite Field Trip

“I loved the Canada field trip in 7th grade. I loved seeing the plays in Stratford and going to Niagara Falls. We saw “The Music Man” and “The Tempest”. We got to meet some of the actors in “The Tempest”, learned about stage combat, and learned one of the dances from “The Music Man”.

“Clark is a very close community. We all know each other really well. Our teachers give us each individual attention and know exactly how each of us learn.”

“I love how close everyone is and how many opportunities we are offered.”

“When I first came to Clark, I instantly felt included and everyone made me feel like I belonged.”

“At Clark, I never feel bored. There is always something new to learn. The classes have forced me to use my time-management skills and work harder.”

“My favorite teacher is Ms. Wilson. She is so funny and kind to everyone.”

What Makes Clark Special?

“We have so many opportunities like Speech Team, Student Council, drama, art, Spanish, Latin, French, and Science Olympiad. We are all so close with our teachers and classmates.”
